Hi everyone, in the past week, we explored the methods, technologies, market and stakeholders surrounding the minimalism concept and select two feasible solutions: sustainably sourced products and up-cycling. In the upcoming time, we will continue our perception and need assessment survey to confirm our hypothesis relating to market gaps.

Hi everyone! In the past week, we went deeper into our root cause analysis, and have decided to focus on exploring the concept of upcycling x minimalism as a solution to the issue of overconsumption.

This week, we explore deeper into our project idea on a minimalist-sustainable e-commerce platform (better name coming soon haha)! Also, much work was put in to produce our first report and slide presentation. :)

We have discussed our initiatives from Rooftop Gardening to Reusable Plastic packaging and Smart Waste Bins. In the end we are slowly uncovering an idea that synthesizes our strengths and passions.

Hello Ghee Kian of YSI SEA Team 4. This is Hassan of utoocentral. Thank you for sharing your work to date. It is really heartening to hear from you how each member shares the pressing local issues they observed from their home countries. At the same time, you are putting in a timeframe structure to help the team working together effectively becasue you are all based in different countries. Looking forward to hearing more from you all and your project name :) Best of luck to all of your efforts!

We are Team 4 of the YSI SEA 2019 impact start-up programme. Sustainability remains the top concern in the world today, and is an issue that's personally meaningful to us too.
